The faster you race your feverish child to the doctor’s office, the lower his temp will be once the doctor sees you.

  1. HA! So, so true!

But you know, not just for kids. Same thing happens with me. I’m dying but by the time I get to the doc’s office and they call me back, I’m skipping and high-kicking.

Something is so wrong with that.

  2. Yes! Then I stand there saying I promise he had a fever when I left the house for like hours…I swear I nkow how to use a thermometer. I even went so far one time to say maybe the cold air outside cooled him off…LOL

  4. TRUTH! Here’s another: On the day you take your kid to the pediatrician, she’ll have enough black and blue marks to make the doctor think she’s the victim of abuse!

Oh my! Though my kiddo’s legs look like he’s been battered a bit too. And here I thought it was just boys!

  5. Oh I can so relate to this. For me it was always the cough. My daughter would cough so much at night that I would lie awake counting to see how high I could get between coughing spells… and eventually tears. Then I’d get her to the doctor the next day. He’d walk in and say, “Well, how are you today?” and she’d smile and say “Good.” I’d just about fall over!!
